LEADERSHIP & SERVICE

Service and leadership go hand-in-hand. Leadership is service in its own sense. There are so many examples of leaders in history, but ultimately, the ones who stepped up and served others proved to be great. Stepping up and taking an active role in a cause you believe in, with no need for praise nor credit, is the true mark of a servant leader.

Assistant Scout Master/Adult Leader

Scouting as a program offers more than just outdoor skills and camping oppurtunities. It offers leadership and general development oppurtunities to youth of a varierty of backgrounds. Since earning the rank of Eagle Scout in my troop, I served as an Assitant Scoutmaster until 2023. Now I continue serving as an Adult Leader at the district level so I might contribute to the program I got so much out of.

Order of the Arrow is part of the Boy Scouts of America, acting as "Scouting's Honor Society". The Order of the Arrow is a service based organization that is entirely youth lead and offers even more leadership oppurtunities than the normal scouting program. Uh-To-Ye-Hut-Tee Lodge served the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council, encompassing nine counties. The Vice Chief of Operations is a youth position second only to the Lodge Chief, responsible for various service projects, fellowship oppurtinities, food service, first aid, and much more.

Tau Beta Sigma, Beta Xi Chapter

Tau Beta Sigma is a co-ed Band Service Sorrority. The Beta-Xi Chapter serves University of Florida bands in various ways. As Parlimentarian, I was responsible for maintaing and interpreting the chapter constititution and by-laws and would typically help run chapter meetings.
